About these terms

These terms apply when you create an account or use West LDN Invoice. The service is operated by West LDN Digital, a UK sole-trader business. Contact us at hello@westldn.co.uk.

The service

West LDN Invoice helps UK freelancers, sole traders and small businesses create, store, download and send invoices. It is invoicing software and does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for checking invoice accuracy, tax treatment, customer information and record-retention requirements.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, protect your login details and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. One person must not access another user’s account without permission.

Plans and limits

Free includes one business profile, up to three reusable customer profiles and three finalised invoices in each UK calendar month. Drafts do not use the allowance.

Professional costs £9 GBP per month and includes unlimited invoices and profiles, a custom business logo, removal of West LDN invoice branding and one-click invoice emailing. Feature descriptions shown at checkout form part of the purchase information.

Subscription billing

Professional is billed monthly through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. The price and billing frequency are shown before payment. We will not change an active subscription price without appropriate advance notice. Payment information is handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by West LDN Invoice.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel Professional through the billing-management link in your account. Paid features normally remain available until the end of the current billing period, after which the account returns to Free limits. Existing invoices remain available. Our detailed cancellation and refund policy applies, and nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service for fraud, spam, unlawful or infringing material, malicious code, security attacks, excessive automated use or activity that harms the service or another person. Invoice email is for legitimate transactional messages, not bulk marketing.

Your content

You retain responsibility for business details, customer details, logos and invoice content you enter. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. You must have the necessary rights and lawful basis for information you upload.

Availability and account closure

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Keep independent copies of records you are legally required to retain. We may restrict or close an account for serious misuse, security risk, non-payment or legal necessity, taking reasonable steps to notify you where appropriate.

Responsibility

West LDN Invoice is a tool and does not guarantee that an invoice will be paid or that its contents meet every user’s particular obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
